BAFTA Masterclass

Jason will be speaking about his original score to Tomb Raider at BAFTA Los Angeles in a private masterclass on March 18th. He we also be performing selections from the score on “The Instrument” – a custom-built sculpture featured throughout the game. BAFTA website

Maestros of Horror and Sci-Fi

Jason will be attending the New York Comic Con, speaking on a panel devoted exclusively to music for sci-fi/horror games (including Dead Space 3) on October 12, 12:15-1:15. Click here to purchase tickets.

2011 A.E.S. Convention

Jason will be speaking the 131st A.E.S. Convention in New York on October 22nd – Making Music for Games: The State-of-the-Art. “This renowned panel of experts pulls the curtain back on the process of making music for blockbuster games. Get the inside perspective on the latest trends in the composition, production, and integration of music for interactive entertainment.”

Dead Space Live in London

Immerse yourself in the music that brings your favourite video games alive, played by the London Philharmonic at Royal Festival Hall. “The Greatest Video Game Music” will include the world premiere of a suite of music from Jason’s original score to Dead Space. Jason will also be attending the concert, scheduled for September 2, 2011.

Develop Conference 2011, Brighton

Jason was invited to speak at the Develop Conference July 21st. Dead Space Revealed

“On Friday January 21, composer Jason Graves will be a special guest at Electronic Arts’ press event Dead Space Exposed at The Crypt in Clerkenwell, London. Graves will conduct the world premiere of his string quartet concerto, “Lacrimosa”, from Dead Space 2 with musicians from the London Philharmonia. The performance will be followed by a talk where he will discuss scoring the Dead Space franchise.

2009 Montreal International Game Summit

Jason will be speaking at M.I.G.S. on November 16 about the ground-breaking score to Dead Space, his experience composing music for games and how interactive development is shaping the future of game audio.
